Early life education is a key tool in our fight against poverty.
With this in mind, we collaborated with the Department of Women and Child Development and the Government of Maharashtra to adopt and transform 996 Anganwadis in Vasai and Palghar taluka in the State of Maharashtra.Our initiatives through these Anganwadis now touch the lives of 50,000+ children and 30,000+ girls & women.
The only way to break the cycle of youth unemployment is to empower our young workers with invaluable skills.
To achieve this, we decided to contribute to the Skill India mission set forth by the Government. Our team leveraged their experience in financial services and construction to set up training institutes for young people willing to work in these sectors.Our training centers in Chandrapur and Kolhapur have trained 2,000+ young individuals with 85% placements accomplished of which 60% are women beneficiaries.
A severe drought can cripple an economy.
This sombre thought pushed us to contribute to the Government’s efforts to mitigate the drought effects in Aurangabad. The firm also officially adopted five villages - Babhulgaon, Waghola, Chincholi, Nandra and Daregaon - in the Phulambri block of Aurangabad.Our drought-relief efforts now have an impact on over 20,000+ individuals around this region and has created water storage potential of over 35 crore litres as on March 2017.
The programme is designed to facilitate financial sustainability amongst the economical weaker sections (EWS) and lower income groups (LIG) in tier II & tier III cities.Our initiatives has touched over 3000+ households through Nukkad Nataks or Street Plays in 3 slum settlements & 200+ people taken for exposure visits to affordable housing projects with 130+ households availed Voter ID cards, 75+ households availed Aadhaar cards & 137+ people availed PAN cards.
